In FY 2018, Alan L. Freed Associates is offering a menu of one-day field programs that can be presented at military installations around the United States. The format for each field program is identical to the programs held on Capitol Hill (featuring five presentations a day). Please note that each program can be modified to address specific areas of concern to individual agencies/organizations.
The evolution of the federal judiciary, combined with the potent influence of the media and special interest groups, will decisively affect and be affected by the institutional competition now unfolding in America. There is no doubt that our fragmentation and seemingly deep politicization in Washington has enhanced the power and stature of these “inside the beltway” groups.
This one-day seminar will closely examine, through a series of high-level presentations, how the judiciary, the media, and interest groups are shaping international politics and the perceptions of America on the global stage. This seminar will help participants understand and appreciate the massive influence these groups have—both pro and con—on American politics and political decision making.

Really Outstanding, will highly recommend to others. Highly professional, thoughtful and experienced classmates greatly added to my positive experience in this class.W. Smith, Pentagon
This is the best and most informative array of speakers I have ever had the pleasure to hear!K. Buckley, Air Force
The exposure to these experts and their wide and varied opinions was fascinating for me. Making sense of the world we live in and overlaying that with U.S. national security interests is the “Kobayashi Maru” of our time…loved it!!!T.K., Air Force • National and International Secuirty Leadership Seminar March 2017
Great opportunity for immersion in current events with experts with viewpoints based on deep academic study, history, etc., which informs a deeper understanding of the public policy debates.K.K., Air Force • Enterprise Perspective Seminar April 2014
I benefited from the left-leaning, democratic perspectives that juxtaposed the conservative perspectives. Keep it balanced—it was awesome!M.P., Air Force • Enterprise Perspective Seminar October 2016
