Field Seminars

In FY 2017-18, Alan L. Freed Associates is offering a menu of one-day field programs that can be presented at military installations around the United States. The format for each field program is identical to the programs held on Capitol Hill (featuring five presentations a day). Please note that each program can be modified to address specific areas of concern to individual agencies/organizations.

Program Description

The Middle East and South Asia present the spectacle of profound economic and social transformations sweeping the region. Although the U.S. is less dependent on Middle Eastern oil than it was, the region remains crucial as the U.S. and its regional allies face new and numerous threats from powerful non-state actors like ISIS and others who are undermining the states of the region and directly threatening our national security.

Absolutely enjoyed the program's overall structure. The moderator did a great job of weaving the different topics

D. Merker, Air Force

The experience and breadth of knowledge of all the speakers was spectacular. Their chosen topics for discussion were absolutely relevant to this audience and we were provided several themes that help to guide our planning assumptions.

J.C., Joint Enabling Capabilities Command • Professional Development Course February 2017

Felt like “Neo” in the Matrix—mass influx of expert information in a concise and rapid-fire format. Awesome!

J.P., Air Force • National and International Secuirty Leadership Seminar May 2015

The speakers were excellent & the seminar was well-organized. I would definitely attend a future Alan Freed event.

S.F., Department of Homeland Security • Global Security Seminar February 2017

Format is terrific! Lots of speakers from across government enterprise and no power points. Plenty of time for engaging dialogue. I love to hear what experts and insiders have to say about out WDC enterprise.

J. Haywood, Wright Patterson Air Force Base
