In FY 2017-18, Alan L. Freed Associates is offering a menu of one-day field programs that can be presented at military installations around the United States. The format for each field program is identical to the programs held on Capitol Hill (featuring five presentations a day). Please note that each program can be modified to address specific areas of concern to individual agencies/organizations.
The evolution of the federal judiciary, combined with the potent influence of the media and special interest groups, will decisively affect and be affected by the institutional competition now unfolding in America. There is no doubt that our fragmentation and seemingly deep politicization in Washington has enhanced the power and stature of these “inside the beltway” groups.
This seminar will closely examine, through a series of high-level presentations, how the judiciary, the media, and interest groups are shaping international politics and the perceptions of America on the global stage. In the final analysis this one-day seminar will help participants understand and appreciate the massive influence these groups have—both pro and con—on American politics and political decision making.
